Job Summary
The Medical Office Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing quality healthcare in a busy clinical environment. The LPN is responsible for assisting patients, supporting the healthcare team, and ensuring a smooth operation within the medical office.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and carry out treatment plans as directed by registered nurses or physicians.
- Perform patient assessments, document vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and provide compassionate care.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during medical procedures.
- Manage office tasks, including scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow.
Qualifications
- Active and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred.
