Job Summary

The Medical Office Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of a medical facility. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks and patient interaction, providing essential support to healthcare providers and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate scheduling.
  • Coordinate patient records and ensure confidentiality compliance.
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims processing.
  • Provide front desk support, including greeting patients and answering inquiries.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
