Job description
The Medical Reviewer is responsible for assessing medical records, claims, and treatment authorization requests specifically related to optometry, ensuring they align with established clinical standards and organizational policies. This role includes working closely with clinical and operational teams to confirm precise documentation and prompt decisions on coverage. Applicants must have a Doctor of Optometry degree and a valid, unrestricted license to practice in California. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience in optometry is necessary, along with excellent clinical judgment and strong communication abilities.
