Job Summary
The Mental Health Counselor will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals requiring support. This role involves evaluating clients’ needs and developing personalized treatment plans aimed at helping them achieve improved mental well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to understand clients’ mental health conditions.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Offer counseling services, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, as dictated by state regulations.
- Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in providing individual and group therapy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
