Job Summary
This position is focused on steering the advancement, technical proficiency, and strategic vision of AECOM’s Mineral Processing unit. The role involves establishing the technical direction and overseeing a diverse team of professionals. The candidate will contribute to global business growth, act as a top subject matter expert for clients, and nurture the development of upcoming processing engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic growth and technical excellence of the Mineral Processing practice.
- Define and implement the technical vision for the department.
- Oversee and manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve operational goals.
- Drive global business development initiatives and expand client engagement.
- Act as a senior expert for clients, providing specialized knowledge in mineral processing.
- Mentor and support the training of future processing engineers.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
- A master’s degree or PhD in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering is highly desirable.
- 15 or more years of progressive experience in mineral processing design and engineering is preferred.
