Job Summary
The Mold Press Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by managing the operation of machinery to create high-quality plastic parts. This position involves the loading of molds with appropriate materials and ensuring that production adheres to specified engineering standards. Additionally, the operator is responsible for the upkeep of equipment cleanliness and performing essential quality assessments using measurement tools.
Responsibilities
- Load molds with specified materials for production.
- Operate machinery to manufacture plastic components as per engineering specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments.
- Handle heavy machinery including forklifts as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical capability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform various tasks.
- Manufacturing experience ranging from one to three months is preferred.
