Job Summary
The MRO Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of maintenance inventory, planning for materials, and handling data related to CMMS/EAM systems. The role emphasizes ensuring operational continuity and the reliability of equipment through effective inventory oversight and strategic resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes and nurture relationships with vendors.
- Coordinate materials planning to guarantee optimal inventory levels.
- Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement to enhance inventory management and reduce maintenance costs.
- Utilize CMMS/EAM data to track and manage spare parts and maintenance supplies efficiently.
- Ensure that operational uptime is maximized through effective resource management.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance inventory management, supply chain, or related manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in the context of managing inventory for maintenance.
- Proficient in the use of CMMS/EAM systems.
