Job Summary
The X-Ray Technician is tasked with carrying out nondestructive examinations, calibrations, and assessments on manufactured components to confirm they meet ASME standards and quality benchmarks. This position involves the setup of required equipment, the analysis of results, and ensuring a safe working atmosphere by strictly following Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform nondestructive tests and evaluations on manufactured parts.
- Calibrate equipment and interpret testing results accurately.
- Set up testing equipment as needed for evaluations.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to EHS guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience or training in the field.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and operating inspection machinery.
- Willingness to pursue in-house Level II X-Ray certification.
