Participate in a 1–3-day in-person research study and demonstrate how you use your phone and favorite apps in daily life. Share examples of everyday phone activity at your discretion and complete a short questionnaire about your habits. Applicants must be at least 18, currently live in New York City, and be native Portuguese speakers who grew up in Portugal and use Portuguese in everyday life. They must have used a smartphone as their main personal phone for at least three years, communicate comfortably in English, be available for three consecutive days, and not currently work for a technology or AI company.
