Job Summary
The City of Middletown is seeking a dedicated Network Administrator to oversee the management and optimization of the city’s network infrastructure. This role is essential in ensuring the functionality and security of network services within the local area, while integrating best practices in cybersecurity into daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the city’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect network assets.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities within the network.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to support overall information technology and system needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance related to network issues.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- An accredited two-year degree with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Proficient understanding of network management and security practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
