Job Summary
The City of Middletown is seeking a dedicated Network Administrator to manage and support the city’s network infrastructure. This position involves overseeing local area networks and ensuring effective communication and data flow within the organization while integrating robust cybersecurity measures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the city’s network infrastructure.
- Ensure secure and reliable connectivity across all local area networks.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and assets.
- Collaborate with other departments to assess network needs and provide solutions.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Alternatively, an accredited two-year degree in a related area combined with relevant experience.
- Experience in network administration and cybersecurity is preferred.
