Job Summary
The IT Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing the College’s network infrastructure, ensuring its security and efficient operation. This role focuses on managing networking systems, controlling user access, and implementing strong cybersecurity measures. The administrator will work closely with the Director of IT to enhance operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the College’s networking systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and uphold cybersecurity practices to safeguard data and user access.
- Collaborate with the Director of IT on strategic initiatives for network operations.
- Provide support and guidance to technical specialists as needed.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in network administration or a similar field.
- An educational background in computer sciences or a related discipline, preferably with an Associate’s degree or higher.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Proficiency in managing user access and network permissions.
