Job Summary
The position of Network and Computer Systems Administrator Journeyman is based at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This role focuses on administering and supporting network and computer systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity standards. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining Tier I and Tier II IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain network and computer systems, ensuring they function effectively.
- Support Tier I and Tier II IT systems to provide seamless service and operations.
- Ensure that all activities comply with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to enhance system performance.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in network and computer systems administration.
- Or a bachelor’s degree in a related field may be required.
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity compliance standards.
