Job Summary
The Network Administrator I plays a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT network infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. This position requires working in partnership with an external Security Operations Center (SOC) while ensuring optimal network performance and delivering technical support in response to incidents and service requests.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the company’s network infrastructure.
- Support and enhance cybersecurity protocols.
- Work in collaboration with a third-party SOC to monitor security and network activities.
- Manage network performance and resolve technical issues related to incidents and requests.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working with network switches, firewalls, and cybersecurity within a Windows server environment.
- A degree in a computer-related field, such as an associate or bachelor’s degree, is preferred.
- Familiarity with network protocols and security standards.
