Job Summary
The role of the Network and Computer Systems Administrator involves providing essential support for the systems utilized by the Air Force. This includes managing and maintaining Tier I and Tier II IT systems to ensure optimal performance while adhering to Department of Defense cybersecurity regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage IT systems for the Air Force, focusing on network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Engage in technical engineering activities and system integration tasks related to network operations.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in network and computer systems administration.
- Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in a related field may be considered.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure components such as routers and switches.
