Job Summary
The Night Shift Multimodality Technologist specializing in X-ray and CT is responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services during the night shift. This role involves providing exceptional patient care while efficiently conducting radiological procedures as needed by medical staff. The technologist must ensure compliance with safety protocols and imaging standards to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
- Verify patient information and ensure the accuracy of imaging requests.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures and address any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification in X-ray and CT imaging techniques.
- Strong understanding of radiological safety and protocol compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, night shift environment.
