Job Summary
The Night Shift RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during the night hours, ensuring their safety and comfort while meeting their medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and assess patients’ health conditions, recording vital signs and any changes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Respond to emergencies and provide necessary interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the nursing practice.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous nursing experience, particularly in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
