Job description

Job Title: Nuclear Licensing Engineer

The Nuclear Licensing Engineer will be responsible for drafting and overseeing essential regulatory documents necessary for obtaining a license for the Nautilus floating nuclear power plant. This position requires collaboration with agencies including the DOE, NRC, ABS, and USCG to ensure that safety frameworks and license submissions are thorough and adhere to compliance standards. Applicants should possess extensive experience in composing or contributing to FSARs or NRC license applications related to commercial reactors or vendors. A comprehensive understanding of NRC Regulatory Guides and the requirements outlined in 10 CFR 50.34, along with the capability to articulate intricate engineering principles into effective regulatory arguments, is crucial.
