Job Summary
The Nurse Aide plays a vital role in supporting the well-being of clients by delivering essential personal care, mobility assistance, and companionship within diverse home settings in Oahu. This position encompasses not only direct client care but also the monitoring of health conditions and facilitating transportation for appointments and necessary errands.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist clients with mobility, helping them to move around safely.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in client health and well-being to the appropriate parties.
- Arrange and provide transportation for clients to their appointments and errands.
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii Nurse Aide or CNA certification is required.
- Completion of in-person skills training.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Oahu as needed.
