Job Summary
The role involves conducting thorough dermatological assessments and executing minor surgical procedures for residents in nursing care facilities. The individual will create personalized treatment strategies and provide education to both staff and family members regarding skin health and preventive care practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed dermatologic examinations for nursing home residents.
- Carry out minor dermatological procedures as required.
- Formulate customized treatment plans for individual patients.
- Educate nursing staff and family members about optimal skin health practices.
- Advise on preventive measures to minimize dermatological issues.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Possession of an active Nurse Practitioner license in New York State is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of experience in the field of dermatology is essential.
