Job Summary
Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania is in search of a skilled and empathetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of our expanding Breast Surgery team. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care within the breast surgery department, focusing on both pre-operative and post-operative patient management.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, ensuring appropriate diagnostic and treatment protocols are followed.
- Collaborate closely with medical professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Participate in patient rounds and contribute to the continuous improvement of care processes.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Relevant experience in surgical care or specialty areas is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
