Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine at our Ottsville, Pennsylvania location is tasked with providing comprehensive care to patients. This role involves evaluating, treating, and educating patients about various health conditions. Additionally, the practitioner will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations of patients.
- Provide appropriate treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Order and interpret radiologic and laboratory studies.
- Educate healthcare team members regarding patient care and best practices.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be a certified or board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for patient and team engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
