Job Summary

Geisinger is on the lookout for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine to join our Value-Based Care Model team. This role will be based in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, and is designed for both experienced professionals and recent graduates who are eager to make a positive impact on patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, focusing on medically complex cases.
  • Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-ups, with time allocated appropriately based on patient needs.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in delivering care to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current and valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
