Job Summary
Geisinger is on the lookout for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine to join our Value-Based Care Model team. This role will be based in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, and is designed for both experienced professionals and recent graduates who are eager to make a positive impact on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, focusing on medically complex cases.
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-ups, with time allocated appropriately based on patient needs.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in delivering care to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Current and valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
