Job Summary
The position of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (FNP/PA-C) is available with a client in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. This role is fundamental to the onsite healthcare team, which comprises nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses, focusing on delivering family medicine services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct health assessments and create treatment plans for patients.
- Manage and evaluate patient care, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and medication.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Minnesota.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
- Previous experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred.
