Job Summary
This position seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specialized in Hospital Medicine. The role involves working under the guidance of the Medical Director or an approved physician, collaborating with patient care coordinators, nursing staff, and the discharge coordinator to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Work under the supervision of the Medical Director or an assigned physician.
- Assist in coordinating patient discharges and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Education as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Must be licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Mississippi.
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
