Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Maternal Fetal Medicine will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to expectant mothers under the guidance of the Medical Director or designated physician. This position requires collaboration with healthcare teams, including patient care coordinators and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient management and safe discharge processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine department.
- Work collaboratively with the Medical Director and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist in developing and implementing patient management strategies.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and discharge teams for seamless patient transitions.
- Participate in training and educational initiatives for clinical staff.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or Health Sciences.
- Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
