Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Maternal Fetal Medicine plays a crucial role in providing specialized care under the guidance of the Medical Director or a designated physician. This position emphasizes collaboration with Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs), nursing staff, and discharge coordinators to ensure comprehensive patient management in a prenatal setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical care to patients requiring maternal fetal medicine interventions.
- Work closely with the healthcare team, including nurses and coordinators, to coordinate patient care.
- Assist in the supervision of clinical practices in alignment with established protocols.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant medicine, or a related field.
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or a licensed Physician Assistant.
- Prior experience in maternal fetal medicine or a similar specialty is advantageous.
