Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Palliative and Supportive Medicine team in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care in a compassionate environment at our Park and Palos Hospital medical office sites. The role entails working during daytime hours and focuses on supporting patients through various therapeutic interventions and medical assessments.
Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic treatments and interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Order and evaluate laboratory tests and imaging studies such as x-rays.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and medical histories.
- Provide patient education and support regarding treatment options and palliative care.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a relevant healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients and colleagues.
- Clinical competence in palliative and supportive care practices.
