The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant delivers healthcare services within a correctional facility by applying the medical model. Collaborating with healthcare team members and security personnel, they focus on meeting the healthcare requirements of the inmate population. Applicants should possess a degree from an accredited NP or PA program and maintain a valid state license. Although prior experience in a correctional setting is preferred, it is not a mandatory qualification for this position.
