Job Summary
The Nurse Resident is tasked with providing direct patient care within a hospital environment, operating under the guidance of a designated preceptor. This role focuses on creating personalized care plans for patients while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient health outcomes and ensuring that all care documentation meets regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Administer bedside patient care under the supervision of a preceptor.
- Develop individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Florida or a compact state.
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required for specific units.
