Job Summary
The Nurse Technician is responsible for providing vital patient care services that support both patients and nursing staff. This role includes monitoring patients’ vital signs, aiding in daily living activities, and facilitating effective patient admissions and discharges. Additionally, the Nurse Technician prepares necessary treatment supplies while working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Support nursing personnel in various tasks.
- Facilitate patient admissions and discharges.
- Prepare treatment supplies as required.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- Completion of designated clinical rotations.
- Possession of a BLS certification.
- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Strong computer skills.
