Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in an inpatient setting. This position focuses on assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a supportive environment for patient recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care that includes assisting patients with hygiene and feeding.
- Support patient mobility by facilitating transport as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness within the unit and manage necessary equipment effectively.
- Engage in hourly rounds to monitor patients and address their needs promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- Hospital experience is preferable, along with a nursing assistant certification.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
