Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering excellent patient care by conducting screenings and evaluations, as well as creating tailored treatment plans for individuals. This role involves overseeing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and rehabilitation technicians, ensuring adherence to both state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to assess patients’ occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients’ quality of life.
- Oversee the work of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and rehab technicians.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards set by state and federal authorities.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program is mandatory.
- A valid and current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist is required.
