Job Summary
This role involves delivering both direct and indirect occupational therapy services, focusing on assessment, intervention, and the development of tailored programs. The therapist plays a crucial role in service delivery, accurate documentation, and effective communication, all while adhering to the ethical guidelines set forth by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Provide ongoing program planning and adjustments based on client progress.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards and adheres to best practices.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Comply with the AOTA Code of Ethics in all professional activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent accredited program.
- Valid Washington Occupational Therapist License required upon start date.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandated.
