Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist PRN is responsible for providing therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses. The role focuses on evaluating patients’ needs and developing effective treatment plans to enhance their ability to engage in daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their occupational therapy needs.
- Design and implement individualized treatment regimens aimed at improving patients’ functional abilities.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the recovery process and adaptive strategies.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs.
