Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist plays a crucial role in conducting clinical evaluations and formulating care strategies aimed at enhancing or preserving the health of patients of all ages. This position involves implementing therapeutic techniques directly with clients, overseeing the use of adaptive tools, and keeping track of patient development in a home health care environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patient needs.
- Develop individualized care plans to support patient recovery or maintenance of health.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s requirements.
- Manage and oversee the use of adaptive equipment to facilitate patient engagement.
- Document and monitor patients’ progress within their care plans effectively.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Current CPR certification.
- A valid driver’s license along with auto insurance.
- One year of experience in occupational therapy is preferred.
- Familiarity with HomeCare HomeBase software is advantageous.
