Job Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering empathetic and effective therapy services to patients, all while working under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This position is essential in ensuring that patients receive appropriate care aligned with individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Implement and deliver treatment plans as designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Assist in managing patient cases to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations relevant to occupational therapy practices.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a program accredited by ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education).
- A valid state license for practicing as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is mandatory.
