Job Summary

ICF is seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled On-Call Senior Bat Biologist to be part of our Natural Resources team. This role is essential in carrying out various species surveys and contributing to the conservation efforts focused on bat populations across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive species surveys as part of bat conservation programs.
  • Utilize technical expertise to assess and analyze bat populations.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement survey strategies.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations based on survey findings.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to bat biology and conservation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Formal education with a professional background in wildlife biology or related fields.
  • Significant experience in performing bat species surveys in various environments.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma and over nine years of relevant professional experience will also be considered.
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
