Job description
The Ophthalmic Technician plays a vital role in collecting patient histories, performing routine and additional tests, and providing support to ophthalmologists during various procedures. This position also involves overseeing patient flow, triaging urgent cases, and ensuring the upkeep of ophthalmic equipment. Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of experience in the ophthalmic field, which must include at least two years dedicated to refracting. A Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification or a relevant equivalent is mandatory.
