Job description
The Optical Design Engineer plays a key role in the design, evaluation, and specification of precise optical systems, overseeing the process from initial concept to production. This position involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that designs are feasible for manufacturing, optimized for cost, and fulfill performance standards. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Physics, or a closely related discipline, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in optical system design. Expertise in Zemax Optic Studio and familiarity with precision manufacturing or engineering settings are essential.
