Job Summary
The Optician acts as the main liaison for patients by providing assistance in choosing and fitting eyeglass frames and lenses, guided by optometrist recommendations. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless customer experience while managing essential tasks within the practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses based on professional guidance.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain an organized and fully stocked environment.
- Handle various administrative functions to support daily operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction at every level of interaction.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance workflow and patient experiences.
- Be prepared to travel up to 10 miles to provide service to additional locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate fittings and optimal customer service.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in a related field.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt to various situations.
