Job description
The Optician plays a vital role in understanding and interpreting eye prescriptions, providing guidance to patients regarding frames and lenses, and executing accurate adjustments for optimal fit. Additionally, they oversee the optical inventory, keep sales records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, and work closely with the practice team to enhance the patient experience. Applicants should possess training or certification in optical dispensing and contact lens fitting. Essential qualities include excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive knowledge of optical products and sales.
