Job description
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for aiding in patient eye assessments, conducting diagnostic tests, and meticulously recording findings in the electronic medical record (EMR). This role involves overseeing patient movement through appointments, processing insurance preauthorizations, and educating patients on contact lens maintenance. Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in an optical or healthcare environment. A high school diploma or GED is a must, along with excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
