Job Summary
The OR/Sterile Processing Technician role at Surgical Solutions in New York City is essential for providing comprehensive support within operating rooms and sterile processing departments. This position focuses on improving patient outcomes and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare teams through effective sterile processing and operational assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely support to the surgical team as needed.
- Ensure the maintenance of sterile environments in operating rooms.
- Assist with the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and assist with restocking as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare personnel to promote best practices in sterile processing.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in sterile processing within a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
