Job Summary
CHRISTUS Health’s Surgical Hospital in Corpus Christi is seeking a skilled OR Surgical Technologist with a specialization in Orthopedic procedures and MAKOplasty. This position is full-time with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts, providing essential support in the operating room environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in both preoperative and intraoperative patient care.
- Maintain and uphold stringent sterile techniques throughout surgical procedures.
- Prepare and organize the surgical environment, prioritizing patient safety.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments and supplies are ready for the procedure.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Experience in orthopedic surgeries preferred, particularly with MAKOplasty.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic surgical setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care and safety.
