Job Summary
The role involves the operation and management of the Davinci XI surgical system in various departments, including GU (Genitourinary), GYN (Gynecology), General Surgery, and Ophthalmology. The professional will ensure the optimal performance of the surgical equipment during procedures and collaborate closely with surgeons and medical staff to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Davinci XI surgical system for various surgical procedures in GU, GYN, General Surgery, and Eye departments.
- Assist and support the surgical team in preparing for operations and ensure the setup of the equipment is compliant with safety protocols.
- Monitor the performance of the surgical system during procedures, addressing any technical issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and equipment usage.
- Participate in training sessions for staff on the functionalities and advantages of the Davinci XI system.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to surgical practices and technology utilization.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or relevant certification in surgical technology, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience operating robotic surgical systems, particularly the Davinci XI, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols within the GU, GYN, General Surgery, and Ophthalmology specialties.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with surgeons and medical staff.
