Job Summary
The position involves working as a surgical scrub technician specializing in the OR18RN services for GU (genitourinary), GYN (gynecological), general surgery, and ophthalmic procedures using the Davinci XI robotic surgical system. The role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of surgical interventions and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assist in the setup and troubleshooting of the Davinci XI surgical equipment.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
- Support the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
- Adhere to safety and infection control procedures throughout all surgical processes.
- Participate in the debriefing and cleaning of the operating room post-surgery.
Qualifications
- Certified surgical technician or equivalent experience in surgical settings.
- Experience with the Davinci XI robotic system or similar surgical technology.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively during surgeries.
