The Oral Surgery Assistant supports surgeons by handling instruments, assisting with anesthesia, and providing chair-side care during procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, performing dental radiography, and managing clerical tasks. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a Certified Dental Assistant credential or have three years of experience with a Michigan Dental Assisting Radiography Program certification. A current BLS certification is also required.
