Job Summary
Coffee Regional Medical Center located in Douglas, Georgia, is on the lookout for a Certified Surgical Technologist (Orthopedics) to join their operating room support team. The role primarily involves preparing for and assisting during orthopedic surgical procedures while ensuring a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for orthopedic surgeries.
- Assist in scrubbing in on all surgical procedures.
- Support the surgical team by handling instruments and ensuring a sterile field.
- Collaborate with the surgical staff to optimize patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) designation required.
- Preferably 2–3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
- Familiarity with orthopedic instrumentation is highly desirable.
