Job Summary
The Outpatient Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. The therapist will work in an outpatient setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and promote a holistic approach to recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
