Outpatient Physical Therapist
Battle Creek, MI
$60/hour
We are seeking an enthusiastic Outpatient Physical Therapist in Battle Creek, Michigan. The successful candidate will deliver tailored one-on-one rehabilitation services in an outpatient environment, catering to the orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and rehabilitation needs of adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Responsibilities of the Outpatient Physical Therapist:
- Assess patients and create customized physical therapy plans suited for outpatient care.
- Administer specialized one-on-one therapy interventions for various conditions including orthopedic, neurological, spinal, and post-operative issues.
- Handle a daily patient load of around 10 visits, while supporting a total daily census of 13.
- Provide education to patients and their families about treatment goals, proper body mechanics, safety practices, and home exercise regimens.
- Accurately document patient care in the Epic system and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as necessary.
Qualifications for the Outpatient Physical Therapist:
- At least 1 year of experience in Physical Therapy.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Familiarity with the Epic charting system is preferred.
- Proficient at providing individualized patient care in an outpatient rehabilitation context.
- Experience treating diverse patient demographics including adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
- Excellent skills in assessment, communication, documentation, and patient/family education.
