Job description
Job Summary
The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions aiming to enhance their mobility and overall physical function. This role requires the development of personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and a collaborative approach with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to diagnose physical impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises and modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention and physical health maintenance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in outpatient therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
